Many locals and tourists were blocked today at the Polican-Skrapar road, due to a protest by the firms that extract decorative stones at the Novaj village.
The trucks were about to drive to the quarry area near the Novaj village, but they were blocked by the Police. This made the companies stage a protest by blocking the national road to Skrapar.
The firms asked the police to free the road for them to work. According to the companies, the police has blocked the road illegally, without giving them an official notification or any written argument about why it was closed.
