The project for establishing a line of ferries powered by solar energy in the Prespa Lake might finally become reality.
After six years of delays by the Greek state, the European Union project which aims to exchange tourists and develop the Prespa region, is about to be implemented, while in July it will be a reality for tourists.
The project signed by the Pustec and Prespa communes will bring three solar energy powered ships from Germany, two of which will be used by Greece and one by Albania.
The implementation of this project will promote one of the best areas of the Korce region. Prespa remains a special attraction in the southeastern part of the country, with many natural resources and special traditions.
