Ombudsman Igli Totozani asked the Parliament to give wider consultation with the public for the draft-law of properties.
After meeting with he groups of interest, and after seeing the variants of the draft law prepared by the Ministry of Justice, Ombudsman Totozani asked to present his suggestions in a hearing session of the Commission of Laws.
“The Ombudsman, based on the importance of this draft law and the issues mentioned by the groups of interests, evaluates that a primary request remains the wide public consultation of the draft that is already in Parliament. It should be consulted with the independent institutions for protecting human rights and with all important actors”, the Ombudsman says.
