The Ombudsman, Igli Totozani, met today with the Mayor of the Elbasn
Municipality, Qazim Sejdini, to discuss about several issues, especially
the Social Welfare.
The Ombudsman says that 400 families have been wrongfully removed from the social werlfare list.
During his meeting at the Elbasan Municipality, the Ombudsman mentioned another important fact, that of the local government decentralization.
He said that the local government needs all its powers, since it is closer to the citizens.
By valuing the support of the Ombudsman, the Mayor of Elbasan requested support for other problems that concern the public, such as housing and unemployment.
