Topi: Albanian politics, a seismic terrain

This is what was declared by the leader of the New Democratic Spirit party during a conversation with the students from where he criticized the two main political forces.

“We have two vertebras without a disk in the middle. Two atrophied vertebras, in the most extreme state of rheumatism, which are giving a terrible ache to the organism. And this organism is Albania and our society”, Topi declared.

Topi criticized the electoral model that is applied in Albania. “Albania doesn’t have the conditions for bipolarisation, because based on the constitutional amends made by these two; they followed an electoral model where the vote of the Albanians is not equal, where the political parties do not start equally in races, and where the results are calculated only by the way how the old parties want”, Topi declared.

“They have built a model that is not fit for Albania. Albania needs a more pluralist model, where no one has the chance or the possibility to become a monarch with only 71 votes”, the NDS leader declared.

NDS: SMI, symbol of corruption

Topi held a meeting with the Fier District structure, where he declared that the ones who are responsible for the Gerdec and January 21st tragedies are still unpunished.

The NDS leader, Aleksander Biberaj, commented the SMI move.

“Ilir Meta’s party is a symbol of corruption. SMI has served as a crutch to Berisha. Our rivals are turning politics into a swamp”, Biberaj declared.
