Speaker of Parliament, Jozefina Topalli, who will arrive this evening
at Brussels, is expected to publicly apologize in front of the European
Parliament to European Deputy Viktor Bostinaru, who she has accused of
corruption.
What she has done is not only unprecedented, but also unacceptable for
the European Parliament. She has accused me of something, without any
reason, without any proof. And this is the reason why the Council of
Chairmen has officially asked the president of the European Parliament,
Mr.Buzek, to ask Mrs. Topalli either to publicly apologize, or to
publicly clarify why she has made those accusations”, declared the vice
chairman of the delegation for Balkan.
“Until today, she has not been able to do this, and it is possible that
tomorrow she might readdress to this matter in some way”, he added.
