Afghanistan is one of the most dangerous countries in the world, where kamikaze attacks shock the country almost every two weeks.
As NATO member, Albania is giving its contribution to the country’s security.
But the four commandos who defected in the UK did not help with their actions.
For this, the Defense Minister, Olta Xhacka, spoke on Top Channel’s Top Story:
“It is an ugly case, but it doesn’t generalize the great work of the Armed Forces. It is necessary for all political forces to offer unity when we are talking about protecting our country and our armed forces”, the Defense Minister said.
Musa Hita, Vice Colonel and adviser for the Special Forces and Commando Forces in Afghanistan, said that the army should not be generalized from this case.
“It’s sad that the hard work that we have done in so many years gets such a bad image because of this. This should not be used to generalize the army. These are individual actions that don’t need to be complicated”, he said.
