The four Western Balkan leaders have approved a declaration which proves their commitment to the MiniSchengen process, promising to implement the four freedoms: Movement of Goods, Movement of People and Service, Evaluation System and Free Movement of Capital.
The countries promise to engage in clean energy, while their main purpose is to join the EU.
The West Balkan leaders expressed solidarity with the people of Albania after the November 26th earthquake. The northern Macedonian and Serbian leaders expressed their commitment to keep providing support, while they invite the remaining countries to join the measures that are part of the mini-Schengen, and that will help the region move forward on the path to EU membership.
