Tirana streets flooded by heavy rains

A few hours of heavy rains were sufficient for blocking the streets of Tirana, causing the draining system to fail.
This situation is always followed by heavy traffic and the failure of traffic lights, causing long queues of cars.
Things turned normal only when the rain was over, while merchants and residents start counting the damages there where water has flooded buildings.
Almost all Tirana areas that suffer infrastructure problems have been flooded, causing many damaged to the residents.
The blocking of the main collector has brought the sewage waters on the surface which entered even the first floors of apartment buildings.
Although the Tirana Municipality workers have arrived, the situation has not change, because they have to wait for the water to settle down, before starting to work.
