The Democratic Party councilors at the Tirana Municipality, Leonard
Olli, Reila Bozdo and Fabian Topollaj, handed over at the Administrative
Court of Appeal a lawsuit against the raise of the public
transportation ticket price.
This lawsuit goes against the decision taken by Mayor Erion Veliaj to raise the ticket from 30 ALL to 40 ALL.
Fabjan Topalli, Councilor of the DP, said that this abusive act will be a burden to the budget of the Albanian citizens. The DP considers this as a clear corruptive affair related to the electoral campaign of Erion Veliaj, and now it will cost to the Tirana citizens 6 million USD more every year.
