A few hours before the first match of Euro 2016, Tirana is preparing to
host many fans. The participation of Albania in this tournament makes it
even more special.

The “Mother Theresa” square has turned into a real stadium, where thousands will be able to watch the play on huge screens.

The atmosphere at the former “Block” area doesn’t seem as warm. Only a few bars had placed flags to decorate the surroundings.

There may be an economic warzone between the former Block cafes and the FanZone at the Mother Theresa square.

The official shop of the Albanian football federation had a significant growth of sales in shirts with the Albanian flag.

There are also foreigners who show interest to buy Albanian shirts.

The Post of Albania has not remained behind. They have issued a stamp with the “Albania in Euro 2016”, which has several national elements.
