The first meeting of the Municipal Council of the Tirana Municipality
will be held on July 30th, with Erion Veliaj to be appointed officially
as the new Mayor of Tirana.
The Central Electoral Commission decided to distribute the mandate for the Municipal Council and District of Tirana. All political subjects have been notified through a letter sent by the Municipal Council Secretary, to send their representatives in this meeting, which, according to the law for the organization and functionality of the local government, is a competence of the Municipal Council Secretary.
All political representatives at the Municipal Council will take the oath to serve to the citizens.
A session will be held to vote the Chairman of the Municipal Council that this time will be from the Socialist Party.
