Tirana Mayor: “No contracts for cleaning companies that violated terms”

Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj joined the volunteers who started the cleaning action today in Albania’s capital.

Veliaj said that 2018 will be the cleanest year in the history of Tirana, with the cleaning service expanded in many suburban areas.

Many citizens have joined the initiative of the municipality.

“I am happy that citizens have responded to our appeal. We have progressed with the cleaning of Tirana. From 300 hot spots, now we have only 30”, Veliaj said.
