The Tirana Municipality started a pilot project for creating
kindergarten spaces for children with special needs. The first one was
offered in the Kindergarten 31 of Tirana, which was restructured
recently.
“We are including for the first time a service for young children with special abilities. The partnership with Down Syndrome Albania is a great way to include some more services that do not raise costs of kindergartens, but are covered by our partners, to assist our little angels with special needs”, Veliaj declared.
In cooperation with donors, Kindergarten 31 has been rehabilitated with its entire internal infrastructure and a green area outside.
“All kindergartens of Municipal Unit five are now rebuilt, thanks to a strong intermediation of the Tirana Municipality”, said Socialist MP Pandeli Majko.
