The Tirana Traffic Police also decides in the last moments to clean the
area from parked vehicles in case of festive or sportive activities.
By not making public announcements and by not placing the necessary signals on roads, when roads are blocked for activities, the police choses the shortest solution, that of towing all cars away.
Even this Monday, the Police removed the vehicles near the Palace of Congresses only at 15:00, since there would be a concert for February 20th, the toppling of the status of Enver Hoxha, the Albanian communist dictator.
Without giving a preannouncement, the police brought the towing trucks and removed the vehicles.
