The Jury selected two projects that will continue the competition among
each other for the Tirana Boulevard Expansion project and the Tirana
River rehabilitation.
DAR Group Turkey & United Kingdom and The Netherlands, Grimshaw Architects are the studios that will continue the competition.
Mayor Lulzim Basha presented seven companies, saying that the winner would be chosen this Friday, but it seems that this was impossible for the jury.
The studios have brought a Master Plan for the rehabilitation of the Tirana River and the surrounding area.
The projects include the development of Paskuqan Hills and turning the natural lake in the area into a Park.
Mayor Rama and the Jury honored with a special prize the companies KCAP and West 8, for new concepts and innovation in urban architecture.
