Tirana, Australian doctors, surgeries in Hospital

16 children with different urinary and kidney problems underwent
surgical interventions at the Pediatric Pavilion of the Tirana Hospital.
The interventions were carried out by a team of specialized doctors
that arrived from Melbourne, Australia.

“There were 16 cases, and some of the operations were being made for the second time”, declared the pediatric doctor, Dritan Alushani.

According to the Australian doctor, besides the surgical interventions that have been carried out with success, other important things for this cooperation are the advices given for the parents, especially the water consumption in large quantities.

The Tirana Hospital Director, Saimir Ivziku, underlined that the cooperation with foreign doctors has turned into a regular practices of the Tirana Hospital.

“This is an experience that is being reinforced each day. The institution has a good cooperation with other medical teams. The cooperation that we are having today is very efficient, an exchange of experience that will continue to grow stable”, Ivziku declared.
