Tirana, action for freeing public spaces

The action of the Tirana Municipality was focused at the former Block area, where it is still going on. The Municipality removed the surrounding facade of the former Manhattan Pub, which had occupied the sidewalk, obliging the pedestrians to walk on the road.

According to the information given by the Municipal Police, the owner of the former pub has no document that can justify the additional construction by obstructing the sidewalk.

The Police forces were accompanied by director Florenc Hoxha and by the state police at the Block area, where bar owners tend to occupy public spaces illegally.
