The Albanian Ambassador in Kosovo, Islam Lauka, launched critics against
the nationalistic Serbian and Russian politics, which he considers the
cause of Kosovo’s blockings in the international arena.

On the other hand, Tirana’s diplomatic representative criticized those who have put in circulation the theory for the existence of the Kosovo people.

“You know that recently we have had some theories, not only imported, but also domestic, which are different from the story that we know so far. Based on what I know, these pseudo-scientific theories have only one purpose: to leave the Albanians without historic memory, so that they can leave us without a future, because a country without a past has no future”, Lauka declared.

The Albanian ambassador in Kosovo released these comments in the conference of “One century of Albanian state”.

“As regards  to the accusations for Greater Albania, which has been reactivated recently even by Alexander Konjuzhi, Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Belgrade, I want to remind to Belgrade and Moscow that Albania, the country that I represent, is among the first that have recognized Kosovo as an independent and sovereign state, and we are doing everything possible for opening its doors for regional and international cooperation, and this is a policy of good neighboring, not a policy of a greater state”, Lauka declared.

The Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Rame Buja, declared that without the foundation of the Albanian state, the state of Kosovo would not have been founded.
