Linda Rama: Between Family, Work and Albania’s Future The National Council of Territories approved the construction of three new hydropower plants in Erseka, Librazhd and Mat.
These are small plants that after a 10 million EUR investment will have a total of 10 MW power. PM Berisha declared that the energy sector is on the right path for a stable development of the country.
“In the last meeting we approved the biggest hydropower project, the Devoll cascade. The battle for turning the country into an energetic superpower is still on. The construction of hydropower plants has turned into a powerful generator of employment even in deep areas”, Berisha declared.
The National Council of Territories approved some other projects for tourist development, mainly for the construction of some tourist projects in Ishm and Lalzi Bay, which were introduced as authentic tourist resorts that will increase the tourism quality in Albania.
