“White Night”, a big 24-hour-long celebration, has turned into a tradition that gets people closer to art and which makes the nightlife even more vivid.
The Film State Archive opened its doors for the public, showing two special movies in the 35 mm format: “Lule te Kuqe, Lule te Zeza”, directed by Mevlgan Shanaj, with actors Yllka Mujjo, Enver Petrovci, Kastriot Caushi and the late Bujar Lako.
They also showed the Italian film “Night of the Falling Stars”, directed by Paolo and Vittorio Taviani.
The Nationa Art Gallery inaugurated a new exhibition, the “Untitled” collection of the Kosovo artist, Zeni Ballazhi.
The public was able to visit during the entire night galleries at the National Art Gallery, the museum line of traditional artists such as Kol Indromeno, Simon Rrota, NDic Martini, Spiro Xega, Zef Kolombi, Vangjush Mio, and paintings of the communist propaganda period which were realized in Albania from 1944 to 1990.
People also were able to see the exhibition of British artist, Grayson Perry, who has depicted the taste of Britain’s classes in three meaningful tapestries, and also the works of the German artist, Rosemarie Trockel.
The National Museum of History, in cooperation with the National Center of Albanian Collectors, has displayed the pen that was used for the Act of Independence, 105 years ago, and the Mors code telegraphic equipment through which the Albanian government has used from 1912 to 1914. There were also personal objects of the men who signed the Independence of Albania, and 30 flags of the period.
The National Theater had a stand-up comedy of Gent Hazizi, and the biggest concert for this November 29th was that of the British star, Emily Sande.
