The stolen paintings in Korce

None of the 1000 paintings found in the house of Sotiraq Xega have been
stolen. The second group of experts, both former students of painter
Vangjush Mio, verified all the paintings and declared that they are not
stolen, but they are creations of the painter from Korca who was the
curator of the gallery from where expensive paintings disappeared.

Police is continuing the investigations by checking the businesses that might have bought the stolen paintings.

The cost for some of Mio’s paintings goes to 30.000 USD.
