The state owned advertisement scandal

The Socialist Party continued reporting the scandal with the state owned
TV ads, in which are involved all Ministries of Prime Minister Berisha.
They have paid millions of USD from the state budget for advertisements
produced by only one company, and have been broadcasted only by the
pro-government televisions.

Socialist MP Eduard Shalsi declared that the Ministry of Defense that is led by Arben Imami has spent 2.46 million USD from the public money for promoting himself, as Shalsi declared.

“The Ministry of Defense has used 300.000 USD for a concert. Here are the figures used by this ministry through the years: 2007, 235.000 USD; 2008, 115.000 USD; 2009, 385.000 USD; 2012, 300.000 USD; 2011, 700.000 USD and 2012, 700.000 USD.

Shalsi declared that the army did not have the minimal instruments to use against fires, but its ministry has millions of USD for advertisements.

“How do you explain that hundreds of thousands of dollars go each year to only one production agency, and only one TV? This agency and this TV are within the same family”, the Socialist MP declared.
