“We are all witnesses of how bad our money is being used with the Albanian Radio Television, the Kosovo Radio Television and the Macedonian Radio Television”, the declaration says.

“These three media institution that should serve to the citizens, have turned into frightening instruments of the government leaders, who transform everything according to their needs for power, and even without the request of the governing power”, the RBA accused.

RBA declared that the freedom of speech in Albania, Kosovo and Macedonia leaves much to be desired. AS regards the media freedom, they referred to the recent report of Reporters Without Borders, in which Albania had left behind only the countries of the region, together with Kosovo and Macedonia.

“The RBA denounces the anti-Albanian and anti-national spirit of these three public institutions in Tirana, Prishtina and Skopje, who broadcast in the TVs of their tax payers. None of them has ever given any documentary or program that treats the national issue”, the declaration continues.

The RBA warned the governments of Albania, Kosovo and Macedonia that the freedom of speech in favor of the citizens is a non-negotiable condition of the EU integration process.
