Two days before his visit in Albania, the Commissioner for Enlargement,
Stefan Fule, explained in Brussels the main messages that it is expected
to transmit and the expectancy regarding the European agenda of
Albania.
“First of all, I come to Tirana for valuing what the politicians are giving for the expectances of their citizens, not for Brussels. And secondly, to see how the current situation is”, he declared.
The Commissioner confirmed that the country has still time to fulfill the duties for receiving the candidate status, if the political will coincides the awareness on the way that remains to be done.
The Commissioner arrived this Tuesday and is expected to meet the key actors of politics, the Ombudsman, and will hold a meeting in the Albanian Parliament for the first time.
