The Serbian Education Minister, Zharko Obradovic, reacted against the
declarations of the Human Rights Initiative with its headquarters in
Belgrade for the lack of books among the Albanian students, which was
also reported by Top Channel with the report on the first day of school.

Obradovic blamed the National Council of Albanians at the Presheva Valley, saying that they have not presented the necessary books for the assessment. According to him, everything goes according to the plan, but the books must be assessed for their content, when they are for minorities, since they could be against the plan and program of Serbia.

There are three publishers from Serbia and one from Albania where anyone can find the necessary books, according to him. On the other hand, the Initiative of the young group has answered with a photo where they have compared the existing books in Hungarian and Albanian, and the difference for the quantity is much smaller. According to them, there are 46 books in Albania for 23 subjects, while there is nothing for high schools. The Hungarians have 212 books for the same education level, while the Romanians 178.
