The Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, made the traditional visit at
the “Nena Geraldine” maternity, where the first newborn for 2013 was a
healthy boy, named Roy.
The first child that was born at Tirana’s second maternity was a girl called Fiona.
The gift given by the Prime Minister and his wife was an silver coin produced especially for the 100th anniversary of independence.
By thanking the administration that stayed at work during that night, in service of the citizens, the Prime Minister gave a special greeting to the Albanian soldiers in Afghanistan.
