The crime in Elbasan

Florent Capja is suspected of killing the 35-year-old Gentian Beqiraj when he was in house arerst.

The Capja family claims that Florent had gone to Macedonia 48 hours before the murder.

“We have the footage of the hotel where Florent stayed on the day of the murder”, says the open letter of the murder suspect’s family.

The 35-year-old was killed at his house, where he was being guarded by two policemen. He was executed with a silenced gun in front of his father, who also died a few hours later of a heart attack caused by the shock.

The first motive for the police is a crime committed years ago, that leads to the murder of businessman Sokol Capja, a murder for which the 35-year-old Beqiraj was being investigated.

But he had been wounded with a bullet in the shoulder, and the court let him stay in house arrest during the trial, under police custody.

Some people went to Beqiri’s apartment this Wednesday and presented themselves as Beqiri’s friends.

The house was opened by his father, but they entered to kill Beqiri and then escape.

After the trial for the murder of Capja, Beqiri had changed his name and was known as Ardian Metaj. The Police arrested both officers that were responsible for watching him.

A few hours after the death of Beqiri, the police returned again to the home for taking his father, Nezir Beqiri, who suffered a heart attack after the shock. He died as soon as he arrived at the ER.
