The Albanian flag that went to the moon

In 1971, Apollo 15 launched towards the moon. 32 flags were on board, tied with a rope.

NASA’s high-level technician at the time, William Kokalari (Vilson Kokalari), was an Albanian originating from Gjirokastra.

After the mission, the flags went on a large sale.

The flag in question, which had the yellow communist star at the time, has a certificate of authenticity and stays in the safe hands of collectors.
