Kosovo Prime Minister, Hashim Thaçi, declared that there is no humanitarian crisis in Northern Kosovo.
But the head of Kosovo government emphasized that if UN agencies would
find that there is a crisis, Kosovo institutions are ready to cooperate
in all directions.
“Our concern regards the reports that have been made about crises and humanitarian needs. First of all, there is no humanitarian crisis in Kosovo. All humanitarian related UN agencies have declared that there are no humanitarian crises of any kind in Northern Kosovo. Allow me to declare that we have not abandoned our northern citizens. They are our citizens, and we will help them with all means, from local and central government”, Thaçi declared.
He also added that he also made clear to the commander of KFOR that Kosovo institutions will fulfill all duties if UN assesses that there is a humanitarian crisis.
