The President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, rejected voices that there will be discussions with Serbia to divide Kosovo in the future.
“I am here as president of our country, and I guarantee the citizens of Kosovo that there will be no force to obligate Kosovo discuss, let alone agree, for a division. There will be no Ahtisaari + plan, no Bosnia scenario”, Thaci said.
Thaci spoke about a final agreement with Serbia, which, according to him, should be legally bounding. According to Thaci, this agreement for Kosovo means mutual recognition.
“We will work hard so that the final agreement between Serbia and Kosovo can coincide with the will of our citizens”, Thaci declared, adding that “the agreement will allow Serbia to access international organizations.”
