Linda Rama: Between Family, Work and Albania’s Future
The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, expressed his readiness to
dialogue with Serbia, but only as two independent countries.
“If a political dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia would mean the readiness of the leaders of both independent countries to successfully start a chapter of peace and mutual understanding, I am ready to participate in it”, Thaci declared, in an interview for the daily “Danas”.
Three days ago, Thaci excluded any dialogue possibilities with Serbia, during an interview for RTK, saying that the intervention in Northern Kosovo has brought a series of good results.
“In cooperation with the international safety mechanism, the law and order will be established again in north”, Thaci declared.
Thaci denied voices for leaving the Prime Minister’s post to run for President in the next year.
“I have an agreement who have given me their trust, and I will fully respect it”, he declared.
