The President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, spoke once again about the agreement with Serbia, insisting that the border correction will result to a direct recognition of Kosovo by Serbia, and to the unification of the Presheva Valley with Kosovo.
According to Thaci, there can be no mutual recognition without concluding the demarcation process with Serbia.
“It will certainly not be an easy process, because we will discuss a 430-meter-long border”, Thaci said, adding that after the recognition by Serbia, the remaining five EU countries will immediately follow.
For this reason, Thaci said that the negotiating team should be established as soon as possible, through political consensus among every political party in Kosovo.
