The first meeting for this year between the President of Kosovo and Serbia was held in Brussels, with the intermediation of the High Representative for the EU, Federica Mogherini.
Mogherini’s spokesperson, Maja Kocijancic, published pictures from the meeting. Before that, she had met with Vucic and Thaci separately.
After the meeting, there was a press release informing about the development.
In this meeting intermediated by Mogherini, Thaci and Vucic talked about the new phase of dialogue between Belgrade and Prishtina, the preparations for an all-inclusive agreement about the normalization of relations between both countries.
The high representative reiterated the importance EU pays to the full implementation of the existing agreements, and underlined especially the need for establishing the Association of Serbian Communes, the energy and Mitrovica bridge agreements.
Mogherini welcomed the commitment of both presidents for normalizing their relations.
