Linda Rama: Between Family, Work and Albania’s Future
One day after the publication of the letter that Intralot Company sent
to Prime Minister Berisha and the Minister of Finances, Ridvan Bode, the
opposition asked the Ministry of Finances to release information about
the procedures that they are following with the tender.
Socialist MP Taulant Ball asked the Ministry of Finances to give detailed information about the procedures followed by the Ministry, the methodology for the selection of the qualifying criteria and the expectance of the budget revenues, from the licensing process and to the tender activity.
The process for this tender had shadows of doubt after the letter that the executive director of the Intralot Greek company has sent to the Albanian Prime Minister and the the Minister of Finances. The letter accuses the Albanian government of limiting the tender competition by casting shadows of doubt on the government’s favoring other companies. The Intralot director says that the price of the Albanian government for selling the license is ridiculous, since it is causing big damages to the budget and the citizens.
