The African heat that has swept the country in the last three weeks has risen to 38°C.

The high temperatures, the absence of wind and the humidity has made the heat unbearable for many citizens. The Military Meteorological Service forecast says that the temperatures will decrease with 1-3 degrees in the next days.

But after this, the heat will return and will stay until the first days of July.

“Temperatures will rise from June 27th to July 4th”, declared Elvira Qilimi, a meteorologist.

The heat has caused two victims, one in Shkoder and one in Korce. Doctors advise to avoid long hours in the sun and the consumption of fluids.
