Taxi driver killed in Tirana

A taxi driver was killed today near the Mother Teresa Hospital Center in Tirana.

Police says that the 53-year-old Mehmet Beqiri was shot inside his car.

Police arrested Aldo Morina, former vice-officer of the Zall Herr military base, suspected for the murder.

Preliminary investigations show that the two people knew each other and the murder might have taken place for moral issues, but other leads are not excluded yet.
