Tax office blocks family hotels that were advertised online, but weren’t registered as businesses

Two family hotels in Gjirokastra were blocked by the Tax Directory, because they were operating informally.

The local Tax Directory says that many subjects that are registered in bookings websites are not registered as businesses.

A meeting was held with the District Prefect, regarding the fact that licensed businesses were reporting a drastic loss of revenues for the first semester of 2019.
