Every vehicle without Skrapar license plates is paying and will pay a
tax that varies from 200 to 500 ALL for entering the town, while
tourists that will visit the famous canyons of the area will pay 8 euro.
These measures are applied at the town of Corovode, after a Municipal Council decision, which is trying to secure funds for maintaining the roads.
“We are obliged to apply these fees, because heavy vehicles are destroying our boulevard. These fees aim to collect the funds for repairing the asphalt”, declared Shqiponja Dako, Chief of Finances at the Skrapari Directory.
The Application of these taxes has brought confusion to the drivers who are obliged to go through a much destroyed road for entering the area.
In this tax are included vehicles that operate businesses, while the Municipality is preparing a list of additional taxes for tourism.
