The trial of the Albanian Prime Minister two children against the Socialist MP, Sajmir Tahiri, was held behind closed doors.

In the next session, the Court of Tirana would take the evidence under administration and give its stance about the witnesses that have been required by the accused.

After the session, Tahiri declared that the court rejected his right of evidence and the witnesses that he had requested. The Socialist MP added other accusations to the Prime Minister and his children.

“I asked the court for more time to administer the evidence and ask them from the Albanian institutions, aiming to make everything possible in this trial, so that there can be justice and not allow the court to become a power instrument on the hand of Sali Berisha and their children”, Tahiri declared.

But Tahiri declared that the court rejected the witnesses that he had summoned, claiming that they did not know their addresses, while he made a public appeal for them to be present in the process.

“Argita Berisha, address, one floor over Berisha’s house, guarded by the National Guard. The court has where to find her. Shkelzen Berisha, the vila in Mullet, the biggest and the most beautiful. Damir Fazlic can be easily found, at the Sheraton Hotel, every time that there are public tenders from our government. Mihal Delijorgji is on house arrest, Fatmir Mediu is Minister of Environment, Aldo Bumci is Minister of Culture, Victor Gumi can be found in Parliament, while General Luan Hoxha is nowhere to be found. He hasn’t been found by the court neither”, Tahiri declared.
