Tahiri’s release, Basha: “Rama chose crime”

After the release of former Interior Minister, Saimir Tahiri, the Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, said that this is part of an agreement that he has done with Rama.

“This is the conclusion of a mafia pact. Tahiri’s release is the triumph of crime and drug traffickers, and a serious hit for Albania’s EU integration”, Basha said.

For Basha, this court verdict means that the judiciary system has been captured: “The total capture of the Prosecution, the dissolution of the Constitutional Court, the blocking of the Supreme Court, is the biggest guarantee that Rama is offering to criminals tied with crime”, Basha concluded.
