Tahiri: Serbia violated Kosovo’s territory

The Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo, Edita Tahiri, considered the arrest
of the Kosovo policemen by the Serbian police as a violation of the
national sovereignty and territorial integrity of Kosovo.

During a meeting held with the German Ambassador in Kosovo,  Ernst Reichel, Mrs. Tahiri declared that Belgrade’s actions fall against the European standards for good neighboring.

According to RTK, Tahiri accused the Serbian government of not implementing the achieved agreements, underlining that they haven’t signed the technical protocol for the integrated border management.

The Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo added that the Kosovo institutions responded with maturity to the Serbian provocations.

The German Ambassador declared that his country is following the political situation in the region very closely, especially for respecting the agreements that he sees as vital for the European future of both countries.

“Canceling the Serbian elections in Northern Kosovo and by removing the parallel structures are conditions that Serbia must fulfill”, Reichel declared.

The diplomat valued Pristina’s commitment in the mutual dialogue and in fulfilling the agreements deriving from it, promising the constant support of his country.

The situation created in north with the arrest of two Kosovo policemen was also treated in the meetings that the Kosovo Parliament Speaker, Jakup Krasniqi, held with the US congressmen that are visiting Pristina.

“Kosovo has offered its cooperation to Serbia, which in return has given attacks”, Krasniqi declared to the Congressmen.
