Tahiri loses trial against Berisha’s children

The Socialist MP, Sajmir Tahiri, lost the first degree of the judicial
battle with the two children of Prime Minister Sali Berisha, Argita
Malltezi and Shkelzen Berisha.
After 13 sessions, Judge Ilir Celiku admitted the suit partially by fining Tahiri with 5 million ALL in total, with each of the plaintiffs are receiving 2.5 million ALL.
The judge rejected only the part of the fine requested by the plaintiffs, who demanded 40 million ALL for moral and financial damages. By the end of the decision, Tahiri declared that the fine at the court of appeal would be only 1 ALL.
