Saimir Tahiri and Ilir Zela will run on March 3rd for the Socialist
Party leader for Tirana; a decision taken by the political force after a
meeting that lasted more than three hours and a half.
This comes after Besnik Baraj resigned one month earlier, a post now held by MP Tahiri.
Within March 15th will end the electoral process in all SP structures.
The Socialists also discussed the delays of the Electoral Reform, blaming the ruling party for lacking of political will, what seriously risks the next electoral process.
