Tafaj defends decision

The Minister of Education, Myqerem Tafaj, considered as not realist the
decision for paying the internship period with 50% of the payment.

According to the Education Minister, these young students should work without payment for one year.

“No profession will have more than 1 year of internship. The change in this law secures a payment for the health insurances. It was a realist step. The candidates who will pass this test and will be qualified for the state test will receive the teacher’s title”, Tafaj declared.

The recent government decision for regulated professions has been added the teachers’ category too.

The opposition representatives emphasized that if the teachers would be included in this category, it should depend by the order.

“The law for regulated professions clearly states that teachers might come with an order. The teacher’s profession is included in the standard”, Tafaj declared.

The Minister of Education released these declarations at the National Agency of Evaluation, where was made the project for evaluating the candidates for the state test.
