Linda Rama: Between Family, Work and Albania’s Future The Serbian President, Boris Tadic, appealed the Kosovo Serbs to withdraw and remove the roadblocks.
Serbian TV B92 says that Tadic invites northern Serbs to withdraw from the roadblocks and contribute for preserving the national interests of Serbia.
“The roadblocks do not contribute, they’re only a threat”, Tadic declared.
He also advised KFOR soldiers to not remove roadblocks unilaterally, because that would endanger the citizens’ life and would bring danger in north. This is a sad circle without solution and from that benefit only extremists”, Tadic declared.
The Serbian President declared that any escalation of the tensions in Kosovo damages Serbia’s interest and that they cannot repeat the errors of 1990, when the Serbs refused the Vens-OVen and the Z4 plan.
This plan was offered for the Croatian Serbs, as a special territory. They refused it and later were evicted. In Serbia there are doubts for the EU candidate status, just 10 days before the report.
