The head of the OSCE presence in Albania has given his stance as regards
the possibility to import and dispose the Syrian chemical weapons in
Syria.
“Maybe it would be good to clarify the basics of the debate now. This is something that Albania should decide with its partners. This is a difficult matter, because on one side is the solidarity with partners and the friendly countries who are helping the Syrian people, and on the other hand it is know that what is being imported to Albania is not a game. These are dangerous, and the Albanian state should take care of that”, declared Ambassador Rauning.
The OSCE ambassador released these declarations during an activity that aims promoting and supporting the civil society. 60 high school students arrived from different areas of the country and attended meetings with politicians and other figures.
The students have discussed with the Minister of Education about the different problems that this sector has. Their ideas for the decision making has been considered a priority by the Minister who focused on their involvement in this process.
