Swedish students clean Lushnje

A group of Swedish students have undertaken an action for cleaning the
city of Lushnje, in different parts of the center and suburbs.
They presented their initiative at the local government and started cleaning, for raising awareness among the citizens.
“We are a group from Sweden, with 36 members, mainly students. We are happy to have visited Lushnje, together with Pastor Erion. We will help cleaning the city and we will pray for Lushnje. Pastor Erion gave the idea to clean the city. We have heard that the Lushnje citizens who go to church, after the praying is over, they start cleaning the roads. Lushnja has many dirty areas and we want to improve its situation. We can do something together, as Jesus did”, declared Bler Alvider, a Swedish student.
The students have bought the plastic bags and gloves and started cleaning the roads and the commercial units. They continued cleaning under the indifferent eyes of the residents.
None of the residents joined the students in this rare occasion. Even when they cleaned in front of any house, they came out of curiosity and looked at the foreigners who were cleaning their streets. The action of the Swedish students will continue for two other days.
