Following the publication of a video on social media, showing a police officer seriously violating the Code of Ethics and Regulation of the State Police, by indecently touching a young woman while on duty, the General Director of the State Police immediately ordered a disciplinary investigation.
The Directorate of Professional Standards of the Tirana Police, after the investigations were carried out, identified the Police employee, who is the citizen M. K, employee of the General Patrol of the Police Commissariat no. 3.
“This employee was suspended from duty and the measure of exclusion from the State Police was taken, for a serious violation of the Regulation of the State Police.
“The State Police strongly condemns such actions that defile the image of the Police Force to the citizens, and invites anyone to denounce any case of violation of the image of police officers or abuse of office, guaranteeing an immediate and impartial response “, announced the police force in a statement.
