Supreme State Audit: Agency hasn’t controlled foreign medicaments entering the country

A Supreme State Audit report for the 2017-2018 period raises suspicions for the quality and security of medicaments that enter the Albanain pharmaceutical market.

Accoridng to the SSA, the responsible agency has not made a thorough analyzing neither of medicaments coming from  abroad, nor from the two companies that produce them in Albania.

The SSA has found that the lab used by the Medicaments Agency is not accredited, since the process that started in 2015 is not final yet.
